Sunny Cliff was the northernmost settlement within the original boundary of the Province of Manitoba. The north boundary would have been located only a few metres north of the current Herb Garden. The original size and shape gave Manitoba the nickname "The Postage Stamp Province.' On July 15, 1870 Manitoba officially became a Canadian province.
Sunny Cliff remains as a premier destination for
photographers wanting to capture the the breathtaking sunsets. Pictures
